What People Are Leaders

Leadership theories are all very similar to each other. They all revolve around traits, qualities and skills of leaders. Some types of leaders are more successful than others, though, mostly due to the ability to manage people.

Psychology experts have been interested in leadership since the early twentieth century. Through observation, history and experiments these experts have developed several leadership theories, ranging from the born leader to the transformational leader.

The Born Leader – The born leader is just that. They are born with the traits and qualities that make a great leader. In the past, these traits were thought to be more male than female so this theory has been referred to as the “Great Man” Theory.

The Trait Leader – Very similar to the “Great Man” Theory this theory states that individuals inherit and develop certain qualities which make them good leaders. However, the problem with this theory is why people who have these traits do not become a leader. The other problem is that this theory only allows for one leadership style based on a set of traits.

The Contingency Leader – This philosophy accounts for different leadership styles, however success is not just based on the style. Other variables that affect the outcome are the situation and the quality of the underlings.

The Situational Leader – The situational leader uses different styles of management to make different types of decisions.

The Made Leader – The exact opposite of the “Great Man” Theory, this philosophy believes that leaders are made, not born. According to this theory, leaders are made by their actions, thus leaders can be made through observation.

The Delegative Leader – This leader considers input and suggestion from their team, which encourages participation, teamwork, and ownership. The leader is ultimately responsible for all decisions, but the process of sharing allows for others to be just as committed to the decision-making.

Family?

Family people are just that. They are people that you happen to be related to. What makes family people so special isn’t just the fact that you are related by bloodlines, but that you all have a shared history together. When family people are met with opposition, are discouraged, or are bedraggled by other family people, it is often done out of a sense of that history. Family people are human and are most definitely fallible. They make mistakes just as commonly as other people. Family people didn’t seek you out just as you didn’t seek them out and yet their value is often more important than those who actually did seek you out.Family people are not only the bloodline connection to your past but they are the reflection of your memories and they are the reflection of your history. This can be a brutal thing when it is used against you in some way. When we can simply remember that family people are there to help us grow and to love us when we make mistakes, it can be easier to look past the usual family transgressions. Family people are often filled with a unique unconditional love for you. Sometimes, when that unconditional love is lacking it can be hard to continue holding that rest of the family together. When we remove the idea of family from family people, they become very simply…people. This perspective often makes it easier to deal with the people we know and love and simply call family.

Do we really have a government for the people?

Do we really have a government for the people? Our government seems to be farther removed from the people that elect the government that it is only right to question whether or not the government that was set up by the people and for the people is really out for all of our best interests. We watch quietly as decisions are made that we may agree with or disagree with, and many of us feel our government is simply completely out of touch with its people as these decisions become final. When was the last time a member of our government was financially strapped with a thirty thousand dollar per year income that warped into joblessness? When was the last time our government went out into the world only to be harassed for being who they were? When was the last time our government realized that there are hopes and dreams of a people resting totally on their shoulders. We are willing to do our own work we just want the government to stop setting up roadblocks that falter in our eyes.

When our government steps out of Washington we would hope that they see the hurt in the eyes of the people who gave them their jobs. We are a people wanting nothing less than everything we can have. We want safety and families and educations, and of course, jobs. We want the ability to offer our families something more than we were offered. A government for the people might be better run by people of the country who make small incomes and face the regular every day dangers in their towns and cities

Conflicts and instincts

First conflicts begin to arise at the moment to meet the biological needs of the people have to adjust to the social framework. For example, each with a child knows that in order to eat – not enough to take a bun at the store – in this society must also pay for it. And get rid the body of unwanted substances, it would be nice, too, in a specially designated places. It is even called – «go to the toilet». And if you read the classic works of psychologists who write about human development, then many of them describe the development as a series of crises that are conflicting in nature. In other words, a person develops through the conflict. And these conflicts are different. And of how people overcome them, is the degree of social adaptation.
Of course, not all conflicts are taking place between the public and the biological nature of man. However, this could be the basis for a very large number of contradictions among the people. And today we want to offer to examine interpersonal conflicts, as well as deal with how you can manage it.
